1956 Dodge “Golden “ Lancer In what was becoming an annual event, Dodge"s spring special for 1956 was the Golden Lancer, a trim package for the top of the line Custom Royal Hardtop coupe, finished with Sapphire White / Gold Gallant Saddle paint; gold colored dash, windshield and door moldings as well as tri-toned patterned white/gray/black upholstery. Production for these cars is unknown, even to Chrysler, but was without question, minuscule. This car, except for one repaint is completely original. The factory applied paint still remains in the door jambs, trunk and under the hood. Optioned with the famous Super Red Ram 315 cubic inch V8 & powerflyte two speed push button transmission, it also has power steering & brakes, dual outside mirrors, AM radio w/dual rear mount antennas & wide white wall tires with full wheel covers.
