All vehicle trades considered, including classics and performance. Occasionally I get a late model truck in on trade. Usually I take something like that to auction since it's not my normal type of inventory. But this one is different. It has a few subtle changes throughout that give it a very sharp look and an upgraded ride, yielding a fun-to-drive full size truck that stands out from the rest. To begin, this is a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 Crew Cab 4x4 with 68,000 miles. Of course, the Sierra is the cousin to the Chevy Silverado, but built in smaller numbers and with nicer options available. This example looks very classy in its Silver Birch Metallic paint. It is accented nicely by the tinted windows with painted B-pillars. It is also wears a chrome front grille, painted and chromed side mirrors, debadged tail gate, and a black bed cover. And really adding to the look are the 22" Denali wheels which have additional room from a 2-inch lift. It all adds up to an especially great looking truck. The stock Sierra drivetrain is the 5.3L Vortec V8 rated at 315 hp tied to the factory 4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission with heavy duty cooler. The transfer case and auto locking hubs provide 2WD, AWD, or 4WD (high or low) operation into the 3.73 axle assemblies with positraction. This model is further equipped with the Z60 sport suspension and a weight distributing hitch. There is also active handling control and tire pressure monitoring for safety. The motor has a few mild upgrades, primarily a high flow induction and performance tune. The truck also has a 4" free flowing exhaust with a nice mellow note while cruising but a great performance sound under throttle. The black leather interior is in excellent condition and is very comfortable. There is seating for six with the front bench seat with folding center console and power driver adjustment. Everything looks clean and uncluttered, and the factory leather wrapped steering wheel is a nice touch too. Interior lighting has been upgraded with LEDs both front and rear. The truck also has cruise control, heated side view mirrors, a light sensitive rear view mirror with compass and temperature displays, and an excellent sounding performance audio system with XM radio. There really is a lot to enjoy here. Great looks, a fabulous interior, and plenty of performance in a practical truck you can really use. Couple this with a clean accident-free history and an impressive Autocheck score of 96 and you've got a truck worth having. Price: $24,500
