--Red with Tan leather interior, Tan carpets and Tan convertible top, Restored, 4-speed with overdrive, Rare factory hardtop. This 250 GT Series II Cabriolet is the 47th of 200 manufactured. Completed on July 2, 1960, it was delivered to its first owner Giuseppe Fiocchi Pino, Como, Italy. In the later 1960"s it was sold to a USAF officer stationed in Italy, who then imported the car to USA. It was then sold to another USAF officer and yet another USAF office until sold to Major Fred Parris. In November 1972 Major Parris sold the 250 GT to by Thomas Churchill, Yellow Springs, Ohio. Mr. Churchill was listed as a Ferrari Owners Club member and also a client of Georgia Ferrari franchise dealer FAF Motorcars where the 250 was serviced. In 1979 it was sold to Robert Hynote, Atlanta, Georgia also a client of FAF Motorcars. In 1980 it was sold through FAF Motorcars to Charles Johnson, Hialeah, Florida. Ownership from 1980 to 1988 is somewhat cloudy, but it is noted to have been seen by well known Ferrari collector and dealer Steve Barney in Toronto, Canada in 1988 when in the care of Ron Goldstack. In 1990 it was sold at the Barret-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. Purchased by then Ferrari franchise dealer Auto Torino, Great Neck, NY it was in their care until 1994 when recorded in the ownership of classic car dealer, Sports Cars Unlimited, Woodbury, New York a dealer who happens to be just one mile west of our current location. In June 1998 the 250GT found its way to well-known New York City dealer of the era, 180 Sports and Classics. In October 1999 it was sold to Peter Colletti a resident of Prospect Heights, Illinois. It was owned by Colletti until 2003 when it was purchased by well-known classic sport car/Ferrari collector, Peter LeSaffre, Massachusetts. Purchased shortly thereafter by another well-known Ferrari collector Alfonso Valdes, it was entrusted to one of the finest Ferrari restoration shops in the USA to undertake a complete and thorough photo documented restoration. In 2008 and soon after this 250 GT"s restoration, it was traded to Autosport Designs, Inc. towards another significant motorcar and immediately sold to one of our clients where it has been owned and loved to date. This 250 has been received extremely limited use since, but has been maintained regardless of cost to keep in its current exceptional restored condition. Absolutely superb throughout, this 250 GT PF Series II Cabriolet is ready for immediate road use or concours circuit.
