This 1955 Mercedes 300SL Gullwing chassis #198.040.4500158 was special ordered in the Fall of 1954. Final completion and acceptance of this 300SL took place on Saturday, January 8th 1955. The car was later sold by it's first owner to help fund the purchase of a 1965 Ferrari 500 Superfast. The second owner was also a Sports Car fan and his new 300SL joined his small collection. It was finally sold to it's previous owner in early 1973 and has been owned and greatly enjoyed over the last forty plus years. The car is running and driving very well and comes with it's original tools, books, and jack. It's never been damaged and the mileage is accurate.The car now shows just over 50k miles and is absolutely beautiful. For only $1,350,000. Price: $1,350,000
