The Morris Ten-Four Series M is a 4 door saloon with a front mounted engine driving through the rear wheels. It's powered courtesy of a naturally aspirated engine of 1.1 litre capacity. This unit features overhead valve valve gear, 4 cylinder layout, and 2 valves per cylinder. A 4 speed manual gearbox transfers the power to the wheels. Postwar models can be distinguished from those made before 1940 by a cosmetic change to the radiator grille, the later versions being rounder, faired in to the engine side panels and without the Morris badge at the top.
