One of the most coveted collector cars in automotive history, the legendary Nomad! Introduced as a 1955 mid-year model for a niche market, the Nomad was a distinctive and unique offering for those wanting something a little different. At the time it was the highest priced model Chevrolet had ever offered. The two-door styling of the 1956 Nomad demanded two-tone paint combinations. That is why Sierra Gold and Adobie Beige looks so terrific on these cars. It is one of the best looking two tone cars from the fifties. This pristine car was just purchased from one of our regular private investors whom has bought many cars from us. It was the beneficiary of a complete frame up restoration some years ago but still looks fresh. That is because it has been so well taken care of and could be shown regularly. The body fit and finish are outstanding including the trim, chrome, and glass. All of the Bel-Air trim is featured including the optional 3 birds, Nomad exclusive tailgate treatment, bumper guards, front bumper extensions, and bright lower rocker moldings. The top of the line interior is absolutely immaculate. It has the correct cloth seat covers, matching door panels, and ultra rare padded dash. It also has the Wonder-bar radio, rare remote mirror, cigar lighter, sun visors, courtesy lamps, and cool chrome tissue dispenser. Vintage AC was just installed and blows cold R134 refrigerant. Power comes from a smooth running 265 V-8 with power pack 4 barrel carburetor, dual exhaust, 3 speed manual transmission, and better breathing heads. The engine compartment is nicely detailed and looks great. Other notable options are the chrome wire wheel covers, wide white wall tires, correct fender antenna, custom chrome tips on the tailpipes, and very rare locking gas cap. Front disc brakes were added to an otherwise stock chassis. Seldom seen but often admired, the Chevy Nomad certainly leaves a lasting impression. Make this one yours and enjoy cruising and car shows like never before. Easy financing, cheap insurance, and professional delivery are available. Price: $69,500 negotiable
