Stk. 1808 1979 Chevrolet Corvette This '79 Vette is extremely alluring with its trademark, Coke-bottle body adorned with optional D80 Anniversary spoilers front and rear, N90 Aluminum wheels and CC1 removable glass panel t-tops. Painted originally in (28) Corvette light blue she was reshot in 2012 in this stunning (83)Corvette Dark Blue you see before you. At times it is so rich and dark that it almost appears to be black. In the cockpit, the 292 Dark Blue leather high-back buckets compliment its new exterior skin as does its new carpeting. Sporting an optional N37 tilt and telescopic steering wheel, ZQ2 Power windows and door locks makes for a comfortable command center as does its classic center console complete with an Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo radio. Under that sleek long hood lies its original 350 cubic inch L82 engine wearing a correct ZBB engine code and 14016379 casting number. This numbers matching motor was the recipient of a full internal makeover that included a mild grind camshaft, double roller timing chain, high performance valve springs and lifters as well as new bearings, seals and gaskets. The original Turbo 350 automatic was also rebuilt and hands off its new found power to its optional (G95) posi rear axle.
