This Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles van was built by Hall of Famer and Guinness World Record Holder, Jay Ohrberg for Mattel to promote their toy line. It is a a real-life exact replica of the toy van produced by Mattel. The van toured all over the world to over 30 different countries. Has a functional swing arm side door, fold down windshield armor with prop devices. The rear wheels are extra wide. Body is completely customized with a turtle shell roof, exposed chromed engine, flared fenders, TMNT 3D front logo and more. This van does run and drive but has not been driven on the street since it was constructed. It was built for show purposes and will drive on / off trailers, in parades etc. but would need mechanical servicing to be safe for the street. This is a one of a kind piece that would cost considerably more to duplicate. TMNT is as popular today as it ever was and has proven to be a long standing franchise. Ohrberg would receive a $10,000 rental fee to display this van. It has been a part of our museum since 2008.
