This 1979 Toyota Land Cruiser HJ45 is in Blue with Black. This HJ45 is all original, imported from South America with a full restoration by Motor Cars of Dallas, Dallas, TX. Inline 6 cyl diesel engine, 4 speed, 4wd, well sorted example of a near impossible to find and iconic Land Cruiser. This is a good driving example, it's well sorted but a meticulous collector would probably correct bumper, seats and a few smaller items. These vehicles will go down the freeway at 60 mph, but they are quite loud and are geared low. Recent service work performed by Natalie's Auto Center, Monterey, CA: - New starter installed and gear oil. - Clean fuel tank, replace fuel filter, fuel separator and install 4 new spring shackles, grease fittings. - New leaf springs and shocks installed. - New rear brake shoes, outer tie rod ends, front wheel bearings and slave cylinder. New mud terrain tires recently installed. This truck was purchased by it's current owner after restoration and was immediately stored in their Monterey-based car collection along with three others and is now offered for sale.
