This is a true 2 owner, 1950 Chevrolet 3100 pickup. It's spent all its life in Arizona where it started out as a work truck for the Prescott Lumber Company in Prescott, AZ. From there it was purchased by the same employee who drove it for work and spent the next years with him up into his 80's. When he was no longer able to drive the truck, it was sold and spent the next several years in southern AZ where it received a new paint job, master cylinder, fuel pump and seat cover. It's powered by the 215 cubic inch inline 6 backed by a manual transmission with a 3 on the tree shift. It starts up, shifts well, stops and goes. It has what appears to be the original wiring as well as some wiring for auxilary lights done by the first owner and the wood in the bed appears to be original as well. If you're looking for a perfect, show condition, needs nothing truck then this isn't the one for you. But if you want something that would make a great base for a total restoration or something you can drive as you fix it up with a ton of character and charm then this is your truck. Its very straight and rust free, and retains almost all of it's original parts and trim pieces. All it needs to go to the next level is someone who is willing to put some time and attention into it, or you can just drive it as is with no problems.
