Stk. 1761 1993 Chevrolet Corvette The first Corvette rolled off the production line on June 30th 1953, and has been going strong ever since. Who would have guessed that the C1, or first generation Corvette, as they are often referred to internally and by enthusiasts alike, would be reborn and reshaped again and again to span seven generations! No American production car has ever matched the string of successes that the Corvette has enjoyed. Upon the fortieth birthday of the Corvette, Chevrolet decided to celebrate the occasion by creating this beautiful Anniversary Edition you see before you. Even though you could purchase a Corvette in ten different colors in 1993, it was this beautiful Ruby Red (code 68) that was created to represent the Corvette turning forty. 6,749 Corvettes received this special Z25 Anniversary Appearance Package which also included a Ruby Red leather interior with power passenger seat and sport bucket seat trim with special anniversary embroidery on the headrests. This particular car also has the 1SB Corvette Preferred Equipment Group which includes electronic air conditioning, Delco Bose music system with cassette and a six-way power driver's seat. As a fitting topper and part of the C2L roof package; a (64S) Bronze removable roof panel was installed at the Bowling Green, Kentucky plant where it was born. On the exterior, 40th Anniversary badging tastefully adorns the nose tail and fenders, along with special 17"anniversary aluminum wheels mounted on P255/45/17 tires up front and P285/40/17 out back. Under its fiberglass clamshell hood you will find its original 5.7 liter, LT1 engine producing 300 hp and 330 lb/ft of torque good enough for a 15.1 second, 93 mph quarter mile time. Underpinning this sleek glass body is a sophisticated, four-wheel independent suspension made up primarily of forged aluminum componentry for high strength and precise handling. This all original 35,420 mile car even includes the owner's manual, sales brochure and VHS owner's video. Call or visit our website at for more information. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS" Price: $17,995
