Up for sale in our Saint Louis showroom is a numbers-matching 1966 Dodge Coronet 500! Built at the Saint Louis Chrysler plant off of HWY 44 this muscle car is powered by a high-output 383 cubic inch big block. Putting the power to the ground is Chrysler"??s heavy duty 727 TorqueFlite automatic transmission connected to the bullet-proof 8 ¾"?rear-end. Introduced in 1949 the Dodge Coronet had a ten-year run initially as Dodge"??s premium model. The name was revived in 1965 to designate Dodge"??s new mid-sized B-body cars. For 1966 the Coronet received a complete restyling. New features included a revised roof line curved side window glass and the tastefully rectilinear styling that was Dodge"??s trademark throughout the sixties. Two inches shorter than its "??65 predecessor the "??66 Coronet looks bigger but weighs in at a svelte 3300 pounds giving it a great power-to-weight ratio. The Coronet 500 was the top of the line distinguished by subdued chrome side trim blacked out grille and a full-width ribbed chrome fascia on the rear. The 500"??s interior boasted all vinyl fabric front bucket seats center console and floor-mounted shift and padded dashboard. Options on this Coronet 500 include: AM/FM radio and cassette power steering seat belts radial tires Magnum 500 mag wheels Halogen headlights Lucas hi beams new chrome bumpers digital clock air shocks and a period-correct console mounted tachometer. Although it wasn"??t available until 1969 the eye-popping Sublime Green paint and flat black accents lend this Coronet 500 extra muscle car credibility. If you want an affordably priced classic muscle car that is sure to turn heads come check this vehicle out. To view the Mopar in greater detail including a video of it running and driving please visit or our St. Louis showroom. For additional information please call . Price: $18,995
