That's why Michael Chiappone at Orlando, Florida's Retro Trucks manufactures the ''Studemino'' conversion kit for El Camino's to keep the look alive on modern machinery. This Studemino is powered by a rebuilt 350ci V8 paired with a rebuilt automatic transmission. It was repainted with the body kit a 2005 Corvette color Millennium Yellow. It also has a new exhaust and a new radiator. This car does have air conditioning, but currently does not have the compressor.
