--Formerly my personal car as used in the 2006 Speed World Challenge series. DBRS9/7 was originally delivered in FIA GT3 form to Autosport Designs, Inc. in February of 2006. It was then homologated to SCCA Speed World Challenge GT format and run in selected events throughout the 2006 season. Towards the end of the season, the engines were modified from their original GT3 specifications (405 HP) to their current format (Circa 600 HP) by Aston Martin Racing-Prodrive. This was done at a great expense and has shown a huge increase. The engine was converted to dry sump, the engine block reworked to included different Crankshaft, Pistons & Connecting Rods, the DB9 cylinder heads were replaced with Modified Vanquish “S' cylinder heads, the total package showing great benefit over the standard unit as well as being SCCA legal. The original GT3 specification Koni suspension has been updated to use Moton shock absorbers and adjustable swaybars have been fabricated and installed. Currently fitted with Fikse 18' wheels for use in Speed World Challenge also included are removable rear wheel covers to adjust for the smaller wheel diameter to rear quarter arches. Since its being sold by Autosport Designs, Inc., it has been extensively modified by Rahal Letterman Racing for use in SCCA Pro Racing"s World Challenge series in only three races during the 2008 and 2010 seasons. The chassis was heavily revised to include a 5Seight distribution shift rearward, 1' lower ride height and revised suspension geometry. It received pole position Road Atlanta (2008) and fastest lap Mid-Ohio (2008). Recently is has received a complete refreshening by IndyCar championship-winning team Newman-Haas Racing. This DBRS9 is the only one in the US!! Also included is Stack data acquisition system with engine, chassis and suspension sensors, Quick release steering wheel, Drivers cool suit, Air jacks and Two-way radio. DBRS9/7 has never been damaged. It is available for sale at a fraction of its original build cost. Price: $179,500
