It is now fitted with a Childress Racing/Harry Gant 358 cid road race motor, a Chevy 350cid bored 30 over with 950 Holley making approximately 600hp. The transmission is a Rankin Mid Valley Engineering 4-speed and the car has a quick change rear end. The chassis was built by SCP and the suspension and steering were crack tested in March 2013. The engine and transmission were rebuilt recently and the car was used for one test day in 2013 to confirm the operability of the car. The hydraulics and brakes were gone through at this time as well. Both the engine and transmission have one test day only on them, approximately two hours. The car has a fresh HMSA log book and aside from needing a new set of tires, it is track ready at this time. The car has an extremely robust roll cage as well as a great deal of power, making it a great way to go quickly in vintage racing for relatively little money. Additionally, HMSA is now featuring IMSA and Trans Am cars of this period, making this car an ideal entrant for these new events. The car is showing plenty of use cosmetically but is mechanically fresh and has great period race history. Total time on the car is 58.1 hours. The car comes with copies of the SCCA results sheets for the races in which it participated, some period photos, a box of extra gears, a spare set of wheels, and some spare body parts. Price: $56,500
