For sale is a 2-owner numbers matching 1969 Ford Torino Talladega located in our Indianapolis showroom. In 1969 Ford developed the Torino Talladega which is based off of the Torino Sportsroof design but redesigned the front end to make it more aerodynamic. The idea was to build a high performance car from the factory due to the demand from NASCAR racing that if you win on Sunday you will be selling on Monday. All Torino Talladega\s were built in the Atlanta Ford plant during off hours during January and February of 1969 with a total production number of only 749 ever being produced! All Talladega models were outfitted with a 428 Cobra Jet engine a C-6 3-speed automatic transmission running to a Ford 9\ rear end with 3.25 gears. Every Talladega came with a black bench seat interior with a column shift and were limited to 3 color choices of Wimbledon White Presidential Blue or Royal Maroon. This 1969 Ford Torino Talladega is powered by its original numbers matching 428 Cobra Jet engine backed by a C-6 3-speed automatic transmission running to a Ford 9\ rear end with 3.25 gears with only 59230 actual miles!
