This amazing all steel 32" Ford 2-Door Sedan, dubbed the Lil" Coffin II, was professionally built in tribute to one of the country"s premier customizers, Dave Stuckey, who built the original Lil" Coffin. Stuckey was an inspiration to the builder (who is the current owner) and he decided to build his interpretation of a car that meant so much to him growing up in Wichita, Kansas. It debuted on the circuit in 2004 in Wichita and has since been shown at the Grand National Roadster Show, Detroit Autorama and World of Wheels, taking Best in Class at each show. In the past couple of years, it has been displayed at the Branson Auto Museum in Branson, Missouri. This incredible custom has been chopped, channeled and sectioned with a unique cantilevered roof. It features a custom grill and headlamp combination and a 1-piece taillight assembly. The steel belly pan has 180 louvers. The beautiful white and gold interior has a custom steering wheel, custom pedals, floating dash, 1-piece top insert and headliner. It is powered by a 291ci DeSoto Hemi with 6-Stromberg 97 carburetors, Isky cam, custom headers and a 3-speed manual transmission. The gorgeous paint is House of Color"s Candy Apple Red and still looks as good as it did new. The original Lil" Coffin was built from Stuckey"s daily driver and became one of the worlds most recognized custom cars. After its success on the show circuit it was purchased by Monogram, who manufactured and sold model kits of the car. After they were finished with the car, they sold it and it was restyled many times over the following years. This Lil" Coffin II has been seen and enjoyed by thousands of car enthusiast over the years and now it"s a rare opportunity to own a legendary car that would be hard to duplicate at any cost.
