This Mustang is a very nice clean convertible. Driven by t he original numbers matching 302 C.I.D rated at 140 horse power with a C-4 transmission this Mustang rumbles. Only 11853 1973 Ford Mustang Convertibles were made and under half of them were 8 cylinder cars. The exterior Color is a very very nice Bright Red paint job which was the original color in 1973. The interior is White vinyl which is also very clean. Enjoy looks from people as you\re going by due to the growl of a rebuilt engine and a newer exhaust system. This 1973 Ford Mustang for sale has not seen snow or salt in the past 30 years! Can you say clean!? Most of the changes for the 1973 Mustang were merely cosmetic. A large square chrome headlamp bezel appeared as did chrome trim around the tail lights. A new grained black applique with bright trim was placed on the rear body panel between the tail lights. The 1973 Mustang convertible was to become the last Mustang convertible for many years. 10-12 years ago the car went through a full restoration; engine trans carburetor springs and paint. Everything has been freshened up within the past 4 years.
