1922 Renault Model 40 Kellner Town Car Chassis Number: 102871 Owned for many years by The Brucker Collection of Los Angeles, California. The Brucker family opened the “MovieWorld: Cars of the Stars' Museum in 1970 and served as patrons for the Kustom Kulture movement when they hired Big Daddy Ed Roth as Art Director for the Museum and subsequently Von Dutch when he arrived in his famed traveling mobile workshop bus. Jimmy Brucker, after being introduced to Robert Williams, immediately offered himself as the patron for the revolutionary artist. MovieWorld closed in 1973. This car was then purchased by the Imperial Palace Auto Collection on December 13, 1984. Imperial Palace sent the car to Mike Fennel in Saugas, California in 1985. Mike Fennel is one of the World"s premier restorers of classic cars. His shop, Mike Fennel Restorations performed a complete comprehensive nut & bolt restoration which was completed in 1986. The car stayed with the Imperial Palace Auto Collection until it was sold in 1999 and again in 2002. The car came back to the The Auto Collections in 2007. Sold again in 2007, and again returning in 2013.
