1939 Packard Twelve Boattail Speedster VIN: 1236-2027 473 cubic inch engine with 175 HP V-12 and a 4-speed manual transmission. According to the build plate this car started live as a formal sedan and was delivered in Richmond, VA on May 22, 1939. The body it is currently wearing a hand-crafted metal body reportedly built by a John Fisher of Indiana, replicating an open two-seater with the rear of the body coming to a point in a boat-tail fashion. It is equipped with factory style enclosed dual side-mount spare tires, a rumbleseat, proper vintage dash clock, AM radio and the Cormorant radiator mascot. It is equipped with after-market turn signals, and other amenities. Paint shows this car has been used with minor chips seen and the soft trim shows some wear. The original dashboard with its gauges is intact. Currently wearing vintage state of Washington 1939 license plates.
