Documented, professional, nut & bolt, frame off, rotisserie, high quality restoration. Second owner only 41,730 original miles. Will consider >$ Classic or Diesel Class A RV partial Trade. How about this beautiful black 1956 Chevy 210 2 door sedan? Restored to represent what a hardcore carnut might have dreamed of in 1956. It's obvious that nothing was spared in creating this authentic looking Classic "Tri Five" Chevy. Body, All original body panels, no rust through, no patch panels, no body damage. The restoration illustrates that it is now beyond factory standards in every way. It's no secret that black cars need extra attention with prep and metal finishing before the paint goes on. As you can readily see, there are no ripples or waves anywhere and the shine fit and finish are consistent from one panel to the next, meaning that the greatest of care was given to detail and the quality. Trim, On the Chevy 210 there is quite a bit of chrome and stainless trim and it has great effect with the black painted finish. Look how precisely fitted that sweeping side trim is, how crisp the Chevrolet scripts look and how deep the shine on the bumpers. Look closely and you can see the grill, parking lights and tail lights are not only perfectly restored on the surfaces you see but also on the areas you can only see by closer inspection. The original style bird ornament remains as do the colorful Chevy emblems and V's on the hood and trunk. The E-Z-Eye Safety Plate glass is all original and with the soft tint looks amazing. Under the Hood, If you think the bodywork is exceptional take a look under the hood. That's a "RHS" (Racing Head Services) built Chevy 350 cu. In. V8, dressed up inside and out. Also added was, power brakes (front disc & rear drum), power steering and ("Vintage Air") heating & air conditioning. Chassis, The transmission is a completely rebuilt 350 Turbo Hydro with a shift kit and spins the original rear end. The all original, rust free, floors and frame were stripped primed and are finished in gloss black. All the body mounts and suspension members were completely rebuilt with new components and painted. The dual exhaust system isn't a muffler shop special but an accurate factory like setup that has a nice rumble and terminates with cool round stainless tips. Every line, every hose, every seal, every fastener, every mount is brand new. Interior, More of the same high quality workmanship is to be found in the interior with all new upholstery and detailing. Every surface is new, from Del Ray black & white seats and door panels, to the classic white headliner and black carpet. The dash and window moldings have been finished and painted to the same high standards as the body. There is new chrome dash trim with the original gauges and speedometer showing the original (only) 41,731 miles. Trunk, The rust free, all original trunk inside was finished in gloss black and has the correct style rubber floor mat and the refinished (original to the car), bias ply tire and wheel, with the original complete jack assembly. Documentation, This Chevy was made in the Baltimore, MD. Chevrolet Assembly Plant, in October 1955. There is easy stuff like the original owner's manual, but for this car it also includes photos of the barn where it was found, photos and information about the original owner and the dealership that sold the car new. Also, how it ended up in storage for over 20 years, in that Pennsylvania barn. Total Care, Garage kept and covered this Chevy has not seen any rain or any bad weather in over 40 years. Always garaged. Price: $66,995
