Here we have a 1968 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster painted LeMans Blue with a Blue interior and comes with both a Black Hardtop and a White Softop. This 3rd generation roadster is powered by the original 327ci.-V/8- 350hp engine mated to a 4-speed transmission. This Corvette is an original and correct car except for a repaint a few years ago, during which time the distributor cap, radiator, and jack were replaced. Other than those items, the car is an extremely original and a true “Survivor Award” contender, previously owned by a NCRS lead judge. The Corvette for 1968 was the first restyling since 1963 and was much more aerodynamic. The headlamps were still hidden, but were now vacuum operated instead of electrical. Conventional door handles were eliminated and in their place were push buttons. Just over 80 f the Corvettes produced in 1968 were 4-speed cars, and 18,630 convertibles were made. The included hardtop was an option that came in handy in cooler weather, or when seeking a more secure cabin. Corvettes convertibles weighed about 3,070 pounds, and cost about $4,347 when new. This is a great, original driver. $27,327
