Purchased locally, this one owner Maverick has been in storage since 1986, Recently painted because of fading, the bumpers were removed, front grille, trim and emblems to start the process. Rock solid, rust free body, this Maverick ahs all original sheet metal, no moisture ever, in the trunk area. Original 6 cyl., 170cu.in. engine with only 57,057 actual miles. Scheduled for service: remove the gas tank, rebuild the carb, clean and inspect the fuel lines, rebuild the brake wheel cylinders, replace the brake linings, install new hardware, change fluids, remove and boil the orig. radiator and change the water pump, pressure test the system and a complete tune up. Inspection of the suspension components, exhaust system & E-brake system. The car is extremely nice, straight body, beautiful paint, completely orig. Nugget Plaid cloth interior and carpet, headliner and door panels. This interior has no wear or tear and looks brand new, nice clean dash, beautiful orig. instrument cluster, non-smoker. Soft comfortable seats, factory seat belts, orig. am radio, exceptionally nice shape overall inside. The trunk is spotless and rust free with spare tire with all original parts like the jack & hub caps. The car has the original Bias Ply tires & color keyed orig. steel style wheels. All the parts to assemble this 1 owner car is included. the under carriage is super solid, light dealer installed under coating (very common in that era). Exhaust system looks fine, however, highly recommend it be replaced. The engine compartment is untouched (obliviously). Completely all original components on this Maverick that hasn't run in 26 yrs.
