1974 Jaguar Xke Series III V12 OTS,, *Automatic* *14,000 original miles* *Original Interior and Original Paint* *Air Conditioning* Single ownership for 24 years* Purchased new by elderly woman in Arkansas*,, This 1974 Jaguar XKE Series III V12 Roadster is Primrose Yellow over a Black interior, which is original. The car has its original black convertible top and a black tonneau cover. It is equipped with an Automatic transmission and Air Conditioning.,, It was sold in Arkansas to an elderly woman who treated herself to a new home and the nicest car the local Jaguar dealer had in inventory. We understand it was never her daily driver but something she drove sparingly until she was unable to manage the sports car, and then she kept it around just to admire. She passed away in the late 1980s, and the car was advertised for sale by her daughter in the St. Paul, Minnesota Pioneer Press. The daughter was neither a car dealer nor an enthusiast, so the ad was simple. A local Jaguar collector answered the ad and found the car to be in immaculate condition, showing just 13,717 original miles. Due to the circumstances of the sale, the mileage was not documented, but the condition of the car corroborated the story, and the collector quickly bought the car. In his 24-year ownership, which spanned from 1988 to 2012, the collector and his wife only added 497 miles to the car's odometer (that's just over 20 miles per year). Although driven sparingly, it was always roadworthy and ready to travel any distance thanks to his in-house mechanic that regularly serviced and maintained the entire collection, which had been moved to Scottsdale, Arizona shortly after the acquisition of this Jaguar., Today, this is certainly one of the finest original Jaguars in existence. This time-warp example wears mostly original paint. Unlike many survivors, the original paint here shines nicely, and the chrome and stainless trim are even better. The interior surfaces are also original factory pieces except for some fresh stuffing inside the driver's seat headrest. The convertible top is the only one the car has ever worn, and it shows some age but is presentable and will do the job. It goes without saying that engine, transmission and body numbers all match the data plate and that all factory stickers and VIN tags are in place. We are delighted to present such a remarkable Jaguar and encourage very close inspection from enthusiasts., The car comes with a jack, hammer, tonneau cover, and owner's manuals., Inquire ,, Advertiser Since 1976
