For many more pictures of this 1965 Mustang Convertible, please go to . The early 1964 1/2 through 1966 mustangs were and still are one of the most, if not the most popular, '60's car made - especially the convertible. As you can see from the many pictures that I have provided this is a very nice looking mustang., This car has some extremely rare equipment on it that separates it from almost all of the other Mustang Convertibles out there. It has a very rare set of the Hi-performance “K' Code heads on it. These heads are worth a considerable amount of money just by themselves. Plus, it has another extremely rare item, an original “K' code Rally Pac with the rare 8000 RPM TACH. Believe it or not, the clock actually works although sometimes you have to tap it on the face just like you did back in the 60's., Besides having these rare items it also has a rare 4-speed transmission with original Ford linkage which Is very rare indeed. Another rare and desirable item it has on it is the “K' code exhaust manifolds., It has also been converted to dual exhaust for even better exhaust flow. This convertible is originally a C- code car that came with a 2-BBL Carb and intake manifold but I am sure when all the other items that I have mentioned were added they also installed a factory Ford intake and a highly desirable and rare Auto-lite 4-barrell Carb. This baby is also equipped with power top (top is possibly the original top so it will keep you from getting wet) but it is not very nice looking. The original top boot is with the car and considering it is most likely the original boot it is in good shape. Someone has also added fog lights to the car but they do not work at the present time. I'm sure that when all the “K' code equipment was added they also added the “K' code dress-up kit and the low restriction air cleaner that was part of the "K" code package. To enhance the handling a bigger sway bar was added. It has drum brakes all around., It is really nice to start up this dude and hear those solid lifters making their unmistakable sound and then glance down at the 8000 RPM Tach and start off for a nice fun ride., This is not a perfect car by any means but you can have a great deal of fun with it as it is and there are endless possibilities of different cool things that you can do with it. Since they only made four 1966 GT 350 convertibles, it might be really neat to make a tribute GT 350 Convertible as you already have a great deal of the rare equipment needed to start that project. Please note how clean and detailed the engine compartment is!!, Call me and talk to me about this 1965 convertible with all these rare options on it.
