Originally assembled at GM's Norwood assembly plant during the 3rd week of January, 1970, this Camaro was then sold new at the legendary performance dealer of V.V. Cooke Chevrolet in Louisville, KY. It is finished in the very rare and beautiful colour of Astro blue accented by black stripes and a black interior with full length console. The focal point of any Z/28 is the motor, this example has a numbers matching 350/360hp LT1 attached to a numbers matching Muncie M21 close ratio transmission and a 12 bolt posi rear end with 4.11 gears. The further you dig into this car the more details you can find such as correct down to the date code heads, correct exhaust manifolds left and right, correctly dated alternator, correctly dated distributor and even correct wheels dated late 1969! Having previously been treated to some restoration work, this Camaro still presents itself well in its factory rare correct livery. The car is a very tight example that runs and drives beautifully. The long list of correct and original components shows that the car has been well maintained, it comes documented by a Protect-o-Plate a and a list of components including their stampings and date codes. It would make an excellent car for a collector searching for a nice original car for their collection, or for the enthusiast searching for an authentic 1970 Z/28 to drive and enjoy., $34,900
