Have you ever considered a Camaro with a GTO drive train? Well, if you think about it that is what you get with a Firebird 400. I think the first generation F-birds are one of the best looking cars from the sixties. Especially the 68 model with the smooth front/rear treatment and no wing windows. This car started life as a 350 but when restored, it was retired for a more powerful 400, with an aluminum intake, 4 barrel carburetor, headers, and electronic ignition. Then it was detailed to show quality with lots of chrome and custom painted block. A custom installed Lokar shifter operates a smooth shifting Turbo 400 automatic transmission. It runs fantastic and sound great through the tastefully done dual aluminum exhaust. A very nice body is sprayed with a modern version of Solar Red. The left rear quarter and hood were replaced, then the original sheet-metal refurbished before the beautiful paint applied. All of the trim, chrome and glass are equally as nice. The 17 inch American Racing Hopster wheels look really great and the refurbished chassis provides an excellent stance. This car also has power steering and power front disc brakes. The black bucket seat interior features a full console, padded dash, custom Grant GT steering wheel, aftermarket gauge cluster, and Pontiac logo floor mats. A fresh vintage A/C system keeps it all cool. The trunk compartment is solid and a new mat was installed. This car is an outstanding example of what Pontiac offered for the Pony car wars. We have a huge stack of receipts for the restoration and the PHS documents. Anyone would be proud to roll up to a car show or cruise night in this jewel. Make it yours today! Financing, insurance, and delivery are available., $34,500 negotiable ,, Advertiser Since 1999
