Being offered for sale is a very original 1972 Corvette convertible, with factory air conditioning, its original drivetrain, original interior, original body panels, original window glass and original Corvette Order Copy (tank sheet). In excellent condition, the car has the L48 350ci/200hp engine, with a 4-Speed wide-ratio manual transmission. The true horsepower rating is closer to 270hp, similar to the output of the L48 engine in 1971. The difference being prior to 1972 published horsepower ratings were expressed as SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) Gross, reflecting an engine's output without power-robbing accessories, such as cooling fan, exhaust system, and alternator. In 1972 engine output was expressed as SAE Net, with horsepower measured at the rear wheel, with resulting lower advertised horsepower ratings., Presented in Bryar Blue, with Blue Interior and a White Soft Top, this 1972 Corvette has it all: Chrome bumpers; 4-Speed manual transmission; convertible top; and factory air conditioning. The car is a “head turner', runs strong and sounds great, with chambered exhaust, which is music to the ears of a Corvette enthusiast., Unmolested early C3 Corvettes in this condition are quite rare. This car is absolutely “turn key' needing nothing other then to be driven and thoroughly enjoyed. Drop the top, put the peddle to the metal, run through the gears and enjoy the true Corvette experience., For further information or to schedule an appointment to inspect and test drive this outstanding 1972 Corvette call Mark (10am-8pm EST).., $34,900
