Pontiac only made 1377 of these RARE/ STRIKING cars. Of those, only a few hundred are left, most not road worthy. They have gone the way of the dinosaur. Ask yourself if you have ever passed one on the road?, I am the second owner of this vehicle. I found it in the middle of the Texas desert where it sat for years. The desert preserved the body, as these cars were prone to rot, making them even rarer now than they were to begin with., The engine was rebuilt about 10,000 miles ago. It is really strong and runs perfect. I replaced the rochester carb with a Holley (but I have the original rochester)., The interior is in fantastic shape (now). The original owner cut a speaker hole in the door panel on the drivers side, which I patched, and the dome light cover is missing. Other than that it is perfect., The car is VERY ORIGINAL. All the numbers match, you will recieve the 40 page report I paid $65 to the Pontiac Historical Society for to verify that this car is a Can Am and not a clone. It has new brakes, rotors, starter, floor boards, and more., The trans is starting to slip, and the car could use a high-end paint job. However, it turns heads at shows right now. If these things were taken care of I'd be asking in the twenties for the car.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, $17,000
