This rare fully restored 1962 Ford Thunderbird factory Sports Roadster is redefining the judging criteria. There is extensive photo documentation from the cars arrival to its disassembly to its final finished glory. All the chrome and paint are beautifully done. The black power top is fresh and works flawlessly. While disassembling the car they discovered the mythical Tonneau marking on the firewall. The mechanics are in perfect operating condition and factory tags/markings abound. The red vinyl interior is factory specified and perfect. There is lots documentation too, including a factory window sticker, dual build sheets, Gate release forms, and service records. This car is registered with the Thunderbird Sports Roadster Society and Vintage Thunderbird Club International. The car has been judged and received the highest honors, including: Vintage Thunderbird Club International Northeastern Region Best of Show Trailered; and Vintage Thunderbird Club International Primary Division 1st Place.
