Rebuilt Original 426 Hemi Engine, Original TorqueFlite Automatic Transmission, 31,979 Original Miles, DANA 60 w/ 4:10 Gears, Galen Govier Physical Inspection Report, Exterior Color: Red, Interior Color: Black, Exterior Condition: Very Good, Interior Condition: Very Good, Mr. Norm Kraus was the owner of a Dodge dealership back in the 60's, trading under the name of Grand Spaulding Dodge. They built a worldwide reputation taking stock Dodges, already strong running pieces, and markedly improving their performance. Mustang had their Shelby, Camaro had their Yenko and Dodge had its Mr. Norm. Many of the car's critical performance components including the distributor, carburetor, springs, etc. were modified to bring enhanced performance. Norm himself autographed the Charger's deck lid., This amazing, low mileage, historical piece is completely number's matching and perfectly documented. The paint you see is mostly original along with the interior, vinyl top and all of the sheet metal. This one's components are as close to the day it was sold as you will find. Even the spare tire, never used, is still in the same spot as the factory placed it. The exhaust system is a reproduction however but does come from the experts at Year One. Turn the ignition and the Charger sounds like 1969 all over again. The car wears 15' dog-dish hubcaps along with the correct F70-15 firestone Wide Oval Redline tires. If you prefer the updated look of 15' mag wheels, as individually pictured here, they can be purchased separately., This Charger started its life in Texas but much of its time was spent in Canada, changing hands there a few times. The last collector to own her from up North is one of the finest gentleman I have crossed paths with in this hobby. Frank cared for this '69 like the rare trophy she is and its current condition and high value is mostly thanks to him., Last, regarding the car's documentation. Our own Vice President, Galen Govier, completed a Physical Inspection Report of the Charger a few years ago. The report is available for prospects to review and will of course go to the next owner. Mopar Collector's Guide did a comprehensive write up on the '69 and its existence has been well catalogued over the years with numerous other articles. We also have the original invoice from Grand Spaulding Dodge along with other dealership paperwork and the Owner's Manual. If you are in the market for a rare survivor, there is none better than our “Mr. Norm's Charger'., $109,900 obo
