This fabulous Mercury was the subject of a frame-off restoration completed in 2010. It has never been shown and will surely win any show entered. It features the 95hp 8-cylinder when most of the other cars in 1940 were 6-cylinders. It has a 3-speed manual transmission and a factory radio. In 1940 Mercury only produced 86,000 cars across the entire line, making for a very rare example. It shows 76,951 miles which are believed to be original. The paint, chrome and interior are like new and the underside looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor. The wide whitewalls are brand new. It starts right away and runs and drives great.
