This 1936 Ford two door sedan was completely restored and modified into an extremely well done and equipped street rod. Obviously professionally restored utilizing all steel components. No fiberglass body panels were used anywhere. Powered by a 350 c.i. Tuned Port Chevrolet IROC engine that has been dressed to compliment the theme of this Ford. To facilitate using an electronic controlled engine, Specialized Wiring has been installed along with a compatible computer. There are aluminumized exhaust headers that flow through a complete custom dual exhaust system that exits at the rear of the car. The transmission is a GM 700R4 automatic and is controlled by a period correct floor mounted shifter. The front end is Mustang ll and it also provides power rack and pinion steering. The brakes are four wheel disc and are GM sourced. Inside this Ford, full VDO instrumentation has been used along with Vintage Air which works beautifully. The steering column is GM and includes a tilt wheel. The entire interior has been updated with rich tweed cloth material along with new carpeting all done to show car quality. There is a ceiling mounted modern JVC AM/FM stereo with CD and the wheels are chrome plated Optima's with 245/60/15 tires on the rear and 175/70/14 tires on the front., This restoration was done in the late 1990's and it has been driven approximately 16,000 miles since. Definitely not used as a daily driver and has been given the best of care since completion. This 1936 Ford drives excellent and has no known issues.
