1947 Plymouth Special Deluxe Convertible, we've owned since about 2003. It recently (7/2012) had the carb rebuilt, front brake cylinders rebuilt, and a new battery installed. It starts, runs and drives very well. This car has been repainted (so-so), but not restored. It appears original. There are some minor conditional issues (top is worn and stained, a stainless piece is slightly out of place, etc.) but nothing out of line for a "good" condition on an unrestored car. Radio does not appear to work, and I didn't check the heat last week in the 100 degree weather. Both sides have mirrors, a driver's side spotlight, and the top functions nicely! The fenderskirts are in the trunk. There are scuffs and anomalies on the bumpers and one noticable ding in the stainless, but overall it is very nice. There are more pictures available from the underneath side of the car if you contact me; the vehicle was on a lift during the brake job., The gas, speedometer, oil, and temp gages all appear to work fine. The tires are in fair condition (older but lots of wear left)., No price negotiation will take place until someone comes and looks at the car. I challenge you to find another in this condition at this price (esp. this color!)., The car is located in Anderson, IN with the owners (my Mom and Dad). I'm in MN. I handle all the communication and can answer any questions. We bought the car out of Pennsylvania.
