This is one of the finest restorations we have ever seen. The chassis is just as nice as the top with red oxide primer surrounded by white and accented with a painted frame. The body is rock solid with nice fit up and show quality paint. All of the extensive trim and chrome are out standing. Power comes from a factory 348 c.i.d. V8 Tri-Power set up with a highly detailed engine compartment. It runs as good as it looks. A smooth shifting 4-Speed transmission, power steering, and power brakes are excellent options on this fine drop top. It makes it so much fun to drive. The immaculate interior features the tri-tone fabrics that screams fifties and is excellent throughout. It really sets off the white paint scheme. I do not think they ever made a better looking steering wheel or dash board than this Impala. You can see the Corvette influence with the bold styling. Look closely at the door panels. They were quite unique back in the day. The power top works smoothly and is in excellent condition. The trunk compartment looks like it just came off the showroom floor. Dual antennas and fender skirts were added. This is one of the highest quality frame off restored cars we have ever had. It only has 45 miles since the complete frame off restoration.
