For the last 35 years I have owned this 37 yearold, accidentfree, all original with new MB-Tex covered front seats, (except for the tires), always garaged, rustfree, and never smoked in, Mercedes classic with less than 49,000 miles. I have given it regular care and a recent detailing and engine service. This 450 SL comes with the original removable hardtop which is in fine condition. This vehicle was manufactured in Germany, so it has European style headlights and its VIN # is 10 24., While in exceptional condition, it does have a few flaws that need to be mentioned. On the exterior, the paint has a few minor scuffs and spots; the hood has a small dent; there is a very small ding on the rear bumper; and there is a small tear on one of the seams of the convertible top. In the interior, the original radio does not work; the drivers door map pocket needs to be reinstalled (which I have); and one of the covers for the seat belt latch is missing.
