Vintage 40-year old body-off restoration on this 1940 Ford Deluxe Convertible. The restoration was started on this rust-free California convertible in 1975, with the following work performed: -Body off, stripped, & painted in Maroon lacquer, -50 AB Flathead Engine, transmission, & rear end rebuilt, -brakes, shocks rebuilt, -Chassis painted and reassembled using correct cadium plating on mounting hardware, Very little work required to get this beauty on the road. It has no patch panels and a very solid floor. Interior is complete (minus armrests) needs new upholstery. The stainless window frames are in nice original condition, nice original grille, and the bumpers and guards have decent chrome. Wiring needs finishing. Paint has some cracking (painted in 1975, but never driven). Top assembly is complete and operates freely. Clear California title.
