This is a ultra rare 280 SE 3.5 coupe. Very few were built and imported for the North American market. This is one of 628 left hand drive coupes produced in the 1971 model year. This is the last year of production. The convertible versions of this car sell in excess of $200,000. The coupes are raising in value and starting to come into their own. Currently they are still affordable. This example is a GREAT driver. Its fast, smooth stable and fun. It starts right up with no smoke. The engine idles smoothly and is incredibly responsive. Its a highly original example. Even the radio is original and works perfectly. All of the windows works and the air conditioning blows ice cold!, This rust free example has had at least one repaint.
