Optioned with both hard and soft tops, K66 Transistor Ignition, M40 (rare) Turbo Hydra-Matic Automatic Transmission, N40 Power Steering, TJ2 Front Fender Louver Trim, UA6 Alarm System, U79 AM-FM Radio-Stereo and PT7 White Wall Tires. No hit body with all original fiberglass. Original engine and transmission confirmed by the best and most knowledgeable authorities in the Corvette hobby. NCRS Top Flight at the Waco, Texas Regional in 2003. NCRS Performance Verification Award at the Northwest Regional in Seaside, Oregon in 2004. NCRS Duntov Mark of Excellence Award at the National in Park City, Utah in 2005. Only 255 1969 Corvettes came optioned with automatic transmission and the L/71. Original tank sheet found by Jeff Reade of American Motoring Memories Culver City, California in 2003. Jeff performed a professional frame on restoration as a frame off restoration was not necessary. Jeff Reade is known in the Corvette hobby as the best of the best and his quality of work is impeccable. Featured in Corvette Enthusiast Magazine August 2010 with the title of article being "Rare Golden Nugget". Car comes with two sets of tires, wheels and trim rings. Radial tires which are on the car now for driving and NOS tires mounted on original wheels and trim rings. Car also comes with a 3 inch binder of awards, judging sheets, documentation, restoration pictures and receipts. The car runs and performs like new. The car is driven once a month to keep everything in working order. Only driven 600 miles since restoration. On average only one 1969 Corvette has earned the NCRS Duntov Award over the last 10 years. I have owned the car for 12 years. Only 30]f classic Corvettes still retain their original engine and the percentage for big blocks is even less. Priced at $25,000 below Keith Martins American Car Collector price guide (2012 summer-fall price guide)., $76,995 firm
