This 1960 left hand drive Morris Minor Traveller is a particularly solid example. The wood is solid and the body is solid. While it has an older amateur quality paint job, beneath the surface this one is probably as solid as you can find. A magnet test anywhere on the steel parts of the body confirms no issues with body filler. The only previous weakness in the body was in the floor section but that has been rectified with new front and rear floor sections welded in using OEM type panels resulting in a car that is very solid throughout. The wood is very good with no rot and has recently had new marine spar varnish.,, The interior is in good shape overall with only minor flaws including a small tear in the headliner just above the driver's door. While the front seats suit the car well, they are from a later model non Morris import. However, a pair of restorable Morris front seats is included with the car.,, The car starts easily and runs well. There are no problems with such things as engine smoke or overheating. The car also has relatively new exhaust system. For an additional $400, available with the car is a 1275 dual carb engine (turns, but condition unknown), rib case gearbox, and Midget disc brake assemblies.,, Car is located in Southeastern Missouri.
