The known history of this magnificent motorcar starts off in 1931 when it was given to famed movie actress Jean Harlow by Howard Hughes. The car then ended up in the possession of Kentucky coal baron, Claude Canada who was at the time one of the richest men in the country. It remained in his museum until his death when it was then acquired by famed Texas real estate tycoon, Jerry J. Moore. Mr. Moore displayed this V12 roadster in his museum and upon his death the collection was disposed of. It ended up in a private collection in Missouri until we acquired it. This motorcar has never been shown in public outside a museum setting in over 40 years until this past weekend when it was displayed at the Kemp Auto Museum Concourse. The car was the star of the show and attracted Jean Harlow fans from as far as 500 miles away. This would be a tremendous edition to any top collection or museum that wishes to acquire a real piece of American history. We are proud to offer what we believe to be one of the most important and desired of the very limited production V12 roadsters built by Cadillac. Offered to the most sophisticated collector, investor or enthusiast who understands and appreciates the investment potential of this wonderful motorcar. Buy with confidence - you will not be disappointed in this incredible American classic., BIOGRAPHY OF JEAN HARLOW: Jean Harlow (March 3, 1911 - June 7, 1937) was an American film actress and sex symbol of the 1930s. Known as the "blonde Bombshell" and the "Platinum Blonde" (owing to her platinum blonde hair), Harlow was ranked as one of the greatest movie stars of all time by the American Film Institute. Harlow starred in several films, mainly designed to showcase her magnetic sex appeal and strong screen presence, before making the transition to more developed roles and achieving massive fame under contract to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM). Harlow's enormous popularity and "laughing vamp" image were in distinct contrast to her personal life, which was marred by disappointment, tragedy, and ultimately her sudden death from renal failure at the age of 26., TRADES WELCOME!
