This car remains in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition after a full frame-off rotisserie restoration by owner four years ago. Every surface has been overhauled to precise originality, no expense spared., 1979 marked the peak popularity of the Trans Am being the last year the beefy 6.6L 4-Barrel V8 was offered. The rebuilt engine is accompanied by an Automatic Transmission, Power Steering, Disc Brakes, Positraction Rear Axle, HD WS-4 Handling Package, Dual Exhaust with Chrome Splitters, Cruise Control, HD Radiator, EZI Tinted Glass, Console-Floor Shifter, Tilt Sport Steering Wheel, Power Windows, Trans Am Equipment Package, LH Remote, RH Sport Mirrors, and Removable Glass T-Tops with factory storage bags., The brakes, suspension steering, and fluid lines have all been restored, along with most engine accessories and systems. The finish on the body is excellent on all surfaces. The frame, floors, and trunk have been cleaned and refinished in original type black. The interior features new OEM style carpet, headliner, seats, and trim panels. Dash has also been restored and houses a AM/FM stereo. The bright work is immaculate with pristine chrome finishes plus new Firebird decals and weather strips. Tires are like new Premium 245/60/15 BFG raised white letter Radial TA's on optional WS-6 factory snowflake wheels.
