1981 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce, Beautiful, fast, totally reliable, and professionally restored. Ready to cross the continent tomorrow. 72,356 possibly original miles. 20,000 miles since the engine was completely rebuilt by an experienced Alfa mechanic. Spica fuel injection will get about 30 mpg on the highway (average overall, including around town, is about 25 mpg). Runs perfectly. Garaged (OK, carported...); this is a southwest car with NO rust., The main restoration work I've had done, over the years (besides the new engine), includes: - new high-quality top, - new brakes, - replace differential pinion seal to stop a leak, - cleaned out heater core and radiator, - new rubber seals for the shift linkage (old ones were getting cracked), - new u-joints and rubber driveline dampers, - new clutch etc (of course) with the engine rebuild, - some new suspension bushings, etc., - new fuel pumps (both), - complete new exhaust system, I've also replaced tires, battery, and lights, weatherstripping, and tidied up various little electrical things, etc. The leather seats are in good condition (no tears or holes), and have custom canvas seat covers on to protect them. I have all the paperwork (over $15K in receipts), and mechanics' phone numbers for everyone who's worked on it., This car is truly in great shape - an immaculate daily driver. I hate to sell it, but I have too many cars, and would like to find someone who will appreciate it as much as I have., $9,800
