1955 Ford Thunderbird. This is an original daily driver, except for a professional exterior paint job and refurbished interior. It was originally sold in San Fransisco and kept there by the second owner. I purchased it and had it transported to my home in Michigan where it has been garaged ever since. It is totally rust free and very solid. The car is equiped with two tops, automatic transmission, power seats, and manual brakes and steering. The odometer shows 16,000, but I was told about an engine overhaul at 75,000, so I believe the true mileage should be 116,000 miles. The hard top was painted at the same time that the exterior was painted and it also got a new headliner and rubber gaskets installed. The soft top will have to be recovered before using it. The car has a new exhaust system and the brake system has new linings and silicon fluid has been installed. The drivetrain has not been overhauled since everything functions quite well. The car has new BF Goodrich whitewall radial tires. It is an eyecatcher and shows great. I hope to find someone who will enjoy this car.
