1936 FORD 5-WINDOW COUPE $54,995.00, Now here is a car that's about as cool looking as you can get and has some pretty nice mechanicals to go with it as well. Starting life as a 1936 Steel Body Flat Head V8 5-Window Ford Coupe. Now it is that same 5-Window Steel Bodied Coupe but it's been Hot Rodded to make a very capable driver. This car drives great, the seating position is great, the performance is great, and it just goes on and on! Power is from a Chevrolet Corvette ZO6, LS6 V8 with a John Lingenfelter Signature series intake manifold plus many other polished or chromed under hood accessories. Horsepower for a ZO6 is rated at 405 and it is coupled to a 700R4 Stricker 4L60E automatic transmission with a Lokar shifter. Wheels are Budnik Polished 5-spoke style with Yokohama S Drive tyres, 205x55x16 front and 225x55x17 rears. Front suspension A Arms are Heidts with Air Bag suspension from Air Ride Technologies with separate adjustability front and rear. Instruments are all VDO with Speedo, Tach, Volts, Fuel, Oil Pressure and Water Temperature. Air Conditioning is from Vintage Air. It has a nice sound system with a 10-disc CD changer mounted in the Bulkhead between the seats and a control unit and AM/FM Stereo mounted in the dash. Other neat features are a Ford Ovals that light up with the headlights and are mounted forward of the doors and before the hood. It has recessed taillights and a third brake light built in. Outside mirrors are an oval style shape as well. The trunk operates hydraulically and the Suicide doors are solenoid activated. Seats are reclining buckets and it has power windows. The steering column is a tilt version with a Grant Banjo style Wood Rim wheel. The windshield opens out for some natural ventilation.
