All trades considered., This is a beautiful Cobra. The silver and black paint and polished 17" Torq Thrust wheels, coupled with a perfect stance, make for a car that really stands out. Beauty is not just skin deep, though, as the car's craftsmanship and performance round out a fantastic overall package., This Factory Five Cobra was built for an automotive executive in the Detroit area. It was completed in 2006 and has only 1,100 miles since. The construction used primarily new parts throughout, while any donor parts were fully rebuilt prior to use. The suspension has tubular control arms in front with adjustable coilovers all around. The car has tight ratio power steering and manual disc brakes., Of course, the heart of any Cobra is its drivetrain. This one has a performance built 5.0L. It is the perfect motor for these cars, generating great power while remaining compact and reliable with minimum weight. The motor is nicely cammed and retains its electronic controls and oxygen sensors (mounted in the coated side pipes). The transmission is a manual Tremec T5, while out back is a Ford 8.8" rear., Inside the car you will find dual black bucket seats with 4-point Simpson harnesses (you can just use the lap section if desired). The dash is extremely clean with all gauges nicely aligned, including water temp, oil temp, oil pressure, volts, and fuel. The horn, turn signals, and lighter work, as do the high and low beam headlights. An emergency brake is present as well. Note there are no wipers on this car!, Driving a Cobra really is a visceral experience. While the the acceleration, handling, and braking are all outstanding, it goes beyond the performance. It's what driving really is all about., $32,000
