1948 Chevy Stylemaster; a complete body off frame restoration. Starting with the frame it has been completely sandblasted and powdercoated. All rear suspension has been replaced with new modern suspension with 3/4" sway bar and rearend is out of a 68 Camero with 308 gears. The front suspension is a Hieght power rack and pinion Mustang II front end and disc brakes. Chrome Coil springs over chrome shocks and stainless steel brake lines. The steering is attached to a Flaming River Polished aluminum Steering Column with Column shift and neutral saftey switch in play., The engine is a rebuilt 350 with S/R torquer heads and 202 intake valves completely gone through with new stainless valves and seats. Rocker studs are bolt in with roller rocker arms. The cam is a Competition Cam completely Roller Hydraulic. Have specs on it if interested. Balanced Crank shaft and new piston, rods and all new arp bolts throughout engine., Transmission is a Pheonix Transmission from Weatherford, TX and is rated for 450 HP as a 350 tubo with electronic stall clutch. The stall converter is a 2600 stall and is completely brand new from Pheonix., The interior is hand crafted by a gentleman out of Guthrie, OK done up in Fine Lite Brown Leather. The window treatments are even covered in the same leather. The back seat is original and the front seats are out of a newer model car, but completely new leather on all interior. Carpet is dark brown original style large loop for easy vacuuming., The exterior is all original metal and very little bondo. This car is native to Oklahoma so very little rust on whole car when got it. I have every step of the restoration in picture formate from the time I got the car to the time it was completed. I have had this car appraised from Auto Appraisal Group out of Virgina and can get a copy of that to interested buyers as well. It appraised for $55K and of course I have more than that in it. I am asking a very reasonable price, but I need to sell it now that it is done because I really need the money more than the car. I completed the project in not quite four years, but my wife and I agree that we will need the money for our oldest son who is about to attend College. You know that isn't cheap. Call if interested for many more details., $49,900 negotiable
