1974 BMW 3.0CS Complete Restoration, 1974 BMW 3.0CS finished in Nacht Blue Metallic with Saddle leather interior. We found this two owner car in a Massachusetts dry storage facility where it had been stored since 1989. Over the past 10 months we have painstakingly gone through the entire car. It was remarkably rust free and solid to start with so we decided to go all out on this one. It was treated to a new interior in it's original Saddle leather color, received a new headliner, replaced chrome trim where needed, new shocks and springs, new bushings, new Alpina style wheels and Yokohama tires, new wood trim, Moto Lita steering wheel, aux gauges, new rubber trim and weather stripping and on and on. The list of what was done is extensive! The US big bumpers were removed and we fitted a CSL style front splitter with custom mounted driving lamps and a 73 chrome small rear bumper. The side markers were removed for a cleaner body line. The engine bay, underside and trunk are as detailed as the rest of the car. It retains the original numbers matching engine block and four speed manual transmission but has been fitted with a 3.5 head, triple Weber carburetors, Shrick cam, headers, aux oil cooler, big fan for additional cooling, RARE Alpina air box, new brakes and rotors and much more. No expense has been spared in the restoration of this car. It is an amazing car to drive and experience. It has it's original electric sun roof and air conditioning and everything works as it should including all windows. Perhaps the finest and most unique 3.0 on the market today.
