1975 BMW 3.0CSi. This is a restored and upgraded 3.0CSi, VIN 4341029. The car was delivered new to Hannover Germany in 4/75, spent several years there, and then made its way to the US in the 80's. It was restored by Laguna Beach BMW Service and then purchased by the current owner, in '88. He has kept it in LA since then, used it as a daily driver for several years, stored it for several more, all the while showing it at various California BMW club events where it received numerous awards. The car was originally painted Polaris, and repainted the current color of Alpine white when it was restored. Since then the seats were recovered, the transmission converted to a 5-speed overdrive w/short shifter, the engine bottom end changed to 3.3 liter, a hotter cam added and the cylinder head ported & polished. The radiator and fan was upgraded and a fan shroud added. The suspension was upgraded with Bilstein HD struts & shocks, lowering springs, a big sway bar kit w/urethane bushings, and a front strut brace. The brakes were upgraded with stainless-steel hoses, cross-drilled rotors, & performance pads, and then several factory-options were added: A/C, front power windows, stainless-steel wheel arch trim, body stripe kit, L&R power mirrors. Also power door locks were added and the wood was reveneered & refinished in a glossy finish w/the speaker grille delete., The car has always been well-maintained by its enthusiast owner, who is selling it for the price listed but with the following free options for the buyer to decide what configuration he wants it in: current 3.3 liter engine with original D-Jetronic injection (pictured) or with 3.5 liter engine from a Euro-version 635CSi with Motronic injection, current 5-speed transmission or original 4-speed, current 16" BBS wheels (shown in 1st picture) or original 14x6" CSi wheels (shown in 2nd picture) or original 14x6" CS wheels (pictured separately), current 2-tone interior or original all-black interior, current MOMO or original steering wheel (pictured separately) & shift knob, and current lowered suspension or original.
