Oldsmobile set sales records by 1955 with well over 580,000 cars being built. They were ranked fifth overall in the competitive American car market. Then why is it you cannot find many as nice as this one? It is beautiful with classic fifties two-tone exterior and tri-tone interior treatments. The body, paint, trim, chrome, and glass are very very nice. Oldsmobile offered a 324 cubic-inch Rocket V8 with an automatic transmission such as the one in this example. It was completely rebuilt in September 2009 to the tune of $5525.80. It runs fantastic and purrs like a kitten. The motor is painted the correct color for the era, topped off with a 4 barrel carb, and the coolest air cleaner offered in the fifties. The 12 volt system has a rebuilt generator and an electric fan was added for extra cooling. The immaculate interior is accented with cloth and vinyl and even has some period correct matching pillows and fuzzy dice. How fifties can you get? The custom 3 spoke wheel covers, wide white wall tires, and fender skirts are must have items on car like this. If you have been looking for a mid fifties car but do not want to pay the price for a Chevy, then please consider this fine 88. You will not see one at every car show or cruise night you attend. You will stand out in a crowd and turn heads with the Boulevard cruiser. Make it yours today with low rate financing, cheap insurance, and professional delivery., $39,500 negotiable ,, Advertiser Since 1999
